Job Description

We are looking for a EMC Test Technician for our testing laboratory located in New Castle, PA with a background in electromagnetic compatibility, radiofrequency, and electrical testing activities.

The candidate shall prepare all technical information prior the start of any testing activities and conduct the test equipment preparation, leading the test engineers and technician to ensure the best project execution and quality.

  • Perform EMC testing on a variety of products and write reports with results of testing
  • Interface with customers to provide a positive experience
  • Support teammates to provide for continued improvement in processes
  • Perform at a level of excellence that represents yourself, your team, and the company with pride
  • Work within the controls and constraints of an ISO 17025 Quality System
  • Test equipment / method development and evaluation

Background and Experience

  • EMC and Electrical testing
  • Up to 5 years of experience Automotive Industry, EMC Testing is a plus.
  • RF test system and measurement equipment
  • Experience with EMC and Electrical laboratory test equipment (EMI receiver, VNA, RF amplifiers, RF signal generators, digital scopes, etc.)
  • Knowledge of EMC and Electrical test standards is a Plus.
  • Interaction with customers for technical project definition and test resources coordination.
  • Having an excellent technical background and team management skills is a must.

Technical Background

Associate Degree in Electronics / Telecommunications engineering or an equivalent.

Personal Competencies

  • Analyzes complex situations and makes decisive, data-informed decisions
  • Strong attitude for teamwork and attitude to precision
  • Excellent communication skills

Languages

Fluent English written and spoken. Other languages will be a plus.
