MASTER DIAGNOSTIC TECHNICIAN
TDC Automotive | Duvall, WA
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | No Weekends

If you're an experienced diagnostic technician who enjoys solving the problems other shops can't, we'd like to talk with you.
TDC Automotive is a growing, technician-owned and operated independent repair shop in Duvall, Washington. We're looking for one exceptional technician with extensive diagnostic experience to help us continue building one of the area's most respected independent repair shops.
Compensation & Benefits

  • Flat-rate pay
  • Paid holidays
  • Paid time off
  • Health insurance contribution
  • Paid uniforms
  • Employee discount on parts
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • No weekends
  • 401k coming soon!
What You'll Do

As our Master Diagnostic Technician, you'll diagnose and repair a wide variety of domestic and Asian vehicles (2000 and newer). This position is focused on diagnostics, problem solving, and quality repairs—not simply replacing parts.
Responsibilities include:
  • Advanced drivability diagnostics
  • Electrical system diagnostics
  • Intermittent concern diagnosis
  • Engine performance and emissions diagnostics
  • Mechanical repair and maintenance
  • Accurately documenting diagnostic findings
  • Helping maintain the high standards our customers expect
What We're Looking For

  • 7-10 years of professional automotive repair experience
  • Extensive diagnostic experience required
  • Strong electrical, drivability, and engine performance diagnostic skills
  • Ability to accurately diagnose before replacing parts
  • Experience using modern diagnostic equipment and service information
  • Professional communication and documentation skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Your own professional tools
  • ASE certifications are a plus
Why Work Here?

We believe in testing, not guessing.
Our technicians are trusted to diagnose vehicles correctly, recommend only what is needed, and repair vehicles the right way. We invest in quality equipment, quality information systems, ongoing training, and quality people because we believe that's what it takes to build a great shop.
We're not interested in creating the biggest shop—we're focused on building one of the best. If you take pride in solving difficult problems, producing quality work, and continually improving your skills, you'll fit in well here. Not seeing something you are looking for? We are open to discussions!
If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with a professional, technician-owned and operated shop that values quality over shortcuts, we'd love to hear from you.
