Position Summary

The Senior Territory Manager is responsible for driving strategic growth and market expansion for CVR's Electronic Vehicle Registration, F&I, and digital titling solutions within an assigned geographic territory. This role serves as a senior-level sales expert, leveraging advanced industry knowledge, deep dealership relationships, and proven sales strategies to increase market penetration and revenue.

The Senior Territory Manager consistently exceeds revenue goals, mentors Territory Managers, partners with regional and national leadership on strategic initiatives, and represents CVR in highvisibility engagements with Independent and Franchise Dealers, dealer associations, and key industry partners. This role requires extensive travel, strong executivelevel communication skills, and a disciplined, resultsdriven sales approach.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Serve as a senior, quotacarrying sales representative responsible for generating new business and expanding existing accounts within the territory.

  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans using industry insights, competitive intelligence, and dealership trends to maximize revenue.

  • Identify, qualify, and close highvalue sales opportunities through advanced prospecting and relationshipbuilding techniques.

  • Lead complex sales cycles, including multistore groups and highvolume dealership organizations.

  • Collaborate with regional and national CVR leadership to support large strategic initiatives and drive alignment across teams.

  • Act as a senior advisor to dealership executives, demonstrating expert-level product knowledge and the ability to articulate CVR's value proposition across all levels of leadership.

  • Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline, ensuring consistent quota achievement and forecast accuracy.

  • Partner with other internal teams-including Implementation, Account Services, and Product-to ensure seamless customer onboarding and continued customer satisfaction.

  • Represent CVR at trade shows, industry conferences, association meetings, and highvisibility customer events.

  • Mentor Territory Managers by sharing best practices, supporting complex deals, and contributing to ongoing sales development efforts.

  • Provide input to leadership regarding market opportunities, competitive activity, and product feedback.

  • Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures.

  • Complete all mandatory compliance tasks and acknowledgements.

  • Meet or exceed all performance expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of consistent quota overachievement in a competitive sales environment.

  • Extensive experience selling to Independent and Franchise Dealers at all organizational levels.

  • Strong executivelevel communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships within the automotive dealership market.

  • Highly motivated, disciplined, and resultsoriented.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a robust pipeline and complex sales cycles.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional partners.

  • Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time within the assigned territory.

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

  • Ability to sit and drive for extended periods for territory travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong, established network within the automotive dealer industry.

  • Experience selling SaaS or software products.

  • Experience selling to multistore or enterprise-level dealership groups.

Salary: $70,000 + Commissions
*Estimated OTE = $208,000
