Job description

Responsibilities
  • Drive the knowledge development and dissemination in a specific technical field of expertise strategically important for the company.
  • Support other Ready to Drink (RTD) technology based projects for NHSc and be a key contact to address process engineering aspects of RTD product development.
  • Drive innovation of new processes and system technology to enable differentiating aseptically produced and filled products.
  • Support the aseptic late differentiation technology development.
  • Drive the development of processes and manage the planning and execution in accordance with the project brief.
  • Coach junior members of the project team to improve efficiency and strengthen competencies.
  • Effectively communicate project status and results through written technical documentation and oral presentations.
  • Provide technical assistance remotely or on site.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in teams to carry out technical due diligence evaluations of suppliers and technical line validations of Nestle or co-manufacturing factories worldwide.
  • Actively support knowledge and competence transfer to the factories together with TCU team.
Requirements
  • Job requires Bachelorโ€™s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field plus 10 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering role at a Research and Development (R&D) or factory in the Food Manufacturing industry.
  • 8 years of experience in AutoCAD;
  • 8 years of experience in Capital Project Management;
  • 8 years of experience preparing process equipment specifications for procurement;
  • 8 years of experience working with liquids processing unit operations and equipment;
  • 8 years of experience incorporating safety standards into food manufacturing process designs and food manufacturing equipment designs;
  • 6 years of experience processing line commissioning;
  • 6 years of experience working with Aseptic Process Technology;
  • 6 years of experience working with process engineering design;
  • 6 years of experience working in the design of Thermal Processing of Low Acid Canned Foods;
  • 4 years of experience in technology, regulatory, quality, and safety requirements for Foods for Special Medical Purpose (โ€œFSMPโ€) products.
