Responsibilities:
The Quality Engineer's role is to plan, lead, and support product and production quality activities within the Engineering functions through developing, implementing, maintaining & improving quality assurance activities throughout the project & production life cycle, including:Developing, improving, and implementing quality design tools & methods and assure that they are used Devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.Conducting quality assurance tests and performing statistical analysis to assess the level of control and manage product / production quality risks.Undertaking root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action.Ensures that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
Requirements:On Professional level applies practical knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience (position typically requires 2 to 5 years relevant experience).May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision.
