DESCRIPTION
Seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead automotive product launch activities, prototype builds, engineering changes, product validation, and cross-functional program execution. This role serves as a key interface between engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and OEM customers to ensure successful program delivery.
Responsibilities
Program Leadership
  • Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Manufacturing.
  • Drive PDT meetings, program reviews, and issue resolution activities.
  • Coordinate global engineering and manufacturing teams to achieve project milestones.
Launch & Prototype Management
  • Manage prototype build events (PPV, APPV, PTB) and manufacturing readiness.
  • Coordinate material planning, supplier readiness, and production schedules.
  • Ensure procurement, component availability, and build execution remain on track.
Engineering Change & Validation
  • Lead ECR/ECO activities and assess schedule, cost, and engineering impacts.
  • Track product validation testing and PPAP readiness.
  • Manage engineering releases, change implementation, and launch timing.
Customer & Program Management
  • Act as the primary interface with OEM customers and Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Maintain project schedules, critical path activities, and program KPIs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and design changes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business with a technical background.
  • 7+ years of Project/Program Management experience in manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of automotive industry experience.
  • Experience supporting OEM and Tier 1 automotive programs.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, Control Plans, and Engineering Change Management.
  • Experience managing prototype builds, product launches, and validation activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and enterprise PPM tools.
  • Strong financial and budget management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience supporting automotiveprograms.
  • Experience working with Magna, Lear, or other Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Knowledge of BIQS, GP-12, APQP, PPAP, and automotive launch processes.
  • Experience with automotive electrical/electronic systems and hardware/software integration.
