Job Title: Automotive System Engineer

Job Location: Lisle, IL (5 days a week onsite)

Job Description: 

  • Relevant experience of 8+ in E&E systems for automotive domain.
  • Experience with requirement documentation and system engineering
  • Experience in controls and software functional areas, such as Body Control Module, Electric Vehicle, ADAS and Autonomous, Vehicle Communications and Network, Infotainment.
  • Define CAN system requirements and interface specifications
  • Develop vehicle Topology / network architecture
  • Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Write and/or review system and subsystem specifications and requirements from vehicle/customer level requirements
  • Development of system requirements, design, simulation, and tests of various mechatronic systems
  • Knowledge on Requirement generation Tools like Polarion, Doors will be preferred.
  • Understand, communicate, and roll out the software architecture strategy and requirements for various controls software functions/domains
  • Responsible for making high-level software architecture choices and decisions for software projects
  • Participation in the requirements, design development, and implementation of software solutions
  • Translate Controls and Software roadmap needs and requirements into technical requirements for software applications
  • Skilled with engineering toolchains such as MS Visio, MATLAB, Simulink
  • Aware of Agile Methodology for Product Development.

 

Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Master s degree in IT/Computers/ Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication/Automotive.
