Summary: Nevada Pic-A-Part is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in our auto recycling yard. This role oversees vehicle processing, movement, inventory accuracy, yard rotation, and safety while supervising both the Processing and Movement Teams. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-driven, and able to manage people, workflow, and equipment in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 DOE

Hours: Full-time: 40 hours/week

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to implement and enforce SOPs and safety regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize workflow, solve operational challenges, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Mechanical or automotive knowledge a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and supervise yard and processing staff.
  • Oversee vehicle de-pollution, battery/catalytic converter removal, cleaning, staging, and yard rotation according to SOPs.
  • Maintain accurate Work-in-Process records, vehicle inventory, and production metrics.
  • Coordinate efficient workflow to maximize space, accessibility, and rotation timelines.
  • Ensure safe and proper use of equipment, including heavy machinery.
  • Enforce PPE requirements, OSHA compliance, and company safety standards.
  • Communicate daily updates to the Production Manager regarding production counts, staffing, and operational needs.
  • Support a positive, safety-driven, team-oriented work culture.
