Job description

Job Summary:
Schlossmann Subaru City Of Milwaukee, a leading automotive dealership in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Automotive Parts Driver to join our team. This position is a crucial role in our dealership, responsible for delivering automotive parts to vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive parts, excellent customer service skills, and a valid driver's license.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position with a starting compensation of $18 per hour. In addition, our company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver automotive parts to customers and vendors in a timely manner
- Load and unload parts onto the company vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing for safe transport
- Check and verify parts against invoices and order sheets to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliveries
- Collect payments for COD orders and maintain proper records of transactions
- Keep a clean and organized delivery vehicle, including regular maintenance and inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service when delivering parts, including answering any questions or concerns
- Assist with inventory management and stocking shelves when not delivering parts
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in the automotive industry and a strong knowledge of automotive parts
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle customer complaints or concerns
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer skills
