Denton Auto Salvage is looking for a full time AUTOMOTIVE PARTS PULLER / DISMANTLER ASSISTANT at its CARBONDALE location, to unbolt parts from vehicles in order to sell the parts to our customers. Must be willing to work outside in the yard through all weather conditions. We can provide all tools such as hand tools and power tools. Just need a basic understanding of how to work on a vehicle and be highly motivated to get things done on their own. We can train you for the position if you have the basic skills needed. We are looking for highly motivated workers who want to enjoy working in the automotive field. 99 DAY $700 SIGN ON BONUS, HEALTH CARE PLAN, 401K & up to 2 WEEKS PAID VACATION
Responsibilities include:
Basic computer skills to assign work orders and print part tags.
Must be willing to work outside most of the day.
Unbolt parts from vehicles in the yard and retrieve parts off of storage racks.
Assist dismantlers by breaking down wheels & tires and gas tanks.
Inspect parts for any damage and notify supervisor of any damage.
Must be able to lift up to 85lbs regularly throughout the day.
Clean all parts for nice presentation to customer.
Will need to learn how to safely and efficiently use all forklifts on the facility.
Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks and customer vehicles.
Must maintain the automotive tools necessary to perform your duties.
Must help clean and maintain all outside work areas.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Assume any other duties that are assigned to you as needed.
Must maintain a good positive attitude and communicate effectively with all other employees and customers.
Must be able to tolerate extreme heat and cold as swell as the rain and snow to perform required duties when needed.
Denton Auto Salvage is a fast growing, privately owned company with 27 Employees. We have been in business for over 65 years. We are located 1 mile south of Carbondale KS. We are a proud member of TEAM PRP. Team PRP is a nation wide organization of over 300 independent Auto Recyclers. We have 4 Delivery routes serving all of the Eastern 2/3 of Kansas as well as all of the Kansas City Mo area. Team PRP also has a trailer system covering all of the Eastern 2/3 of the United States. This gives us access to a Huge Inventory Data Base to buy and sell parts from. We cater primarily to the Insurance industry and professional mechanical and auto body repair shops.
