Description
Desoto Collision Center is looking to add a motivated and dedicated member to our Team.
The Automotive Paint Technician refinishes all repaired vehicles to DCC standards in accordance with factory and dealership specifications, using proper refinish equipment.
  • Paint technician is responsible for refinishing of all assigned vehicles.
  • Follow written work orders and prioritize work efficiently to meet target dates
  • Perform refinish procedures according to factory specifications maintain acceptable cost per paint labor hour
  • Follows proper refinishing procedures in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
  • Follows vendor procedures to maintain tools and equipment including maintenance of paint booth filters.
  • Maintains a clean organized work space.
  • Proper management of material costs to maximize usage and control inventory.
  • Perfom other duties as assigned by Manager to ensure efficient and effective repairs

Position Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinish processes.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continued learning by participating in on going I-Car Pro level training.
  • Reliable attendance required.
  • Must comply will all safety requirements & guidelines and maintain the ability to pass required safety respirator mask fit tests.
