Job description

Location: Lebanon, TN
NTN Bearing Corporation, a global leader in bearing manufacturing serving the automotive and industrial markets for more than 100 years, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead warehouse and distribution activities at our Lebanon, Tennessee facility. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate warehouse operations while driving continuous improvement, inventory integrity, employee development, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership with process discipline and commitment to customer service and safety.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight for all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, material handling, shipping, packaging, and distribution activities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize inventory control, warehouse productivity, space utilization, and service levels.
  • Monitor inventory consumption trends, stock levels, and market conditions to support replenishment planning and ensure material availability for business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse personnel to maximize productivity, engagement, and operational effectiveness. This includes being out on the floor working with employees to cut, trim and process product for customers.
  • Drive proficiency and utilization of ERP systems to maintain accurate inventory records, reporting, shipping, receiving, and transaction processing.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles, and other warehouse assets.
  • Establish and standardize warehouse procedures, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency, consistency, and cost performance.
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities, including receipt of materials, inspection processes, packaging, crating, and shipment preparation.
  • Analyze operational performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve service, quality, inventory accuracy, and overall warehouse effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production requirements, customer commitments, and strategic business objectives.
  • Lead special projects and perform additional duties as required to support business growth and operational objectives.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing operations, including leadership or supervisory responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, warehouse operations, and material flow processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment requires extensive walking and standing.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move materials up to 75-100 pounds safely.
  • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment while complying with all PPE and safety requirements.
