We are hiring experienced Auto Mechanics / Automotive Technicians for a busy, fast-paced shop in the Detroit area. This is a long-term opportunity for skilled technicians who are confident in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of automotive vehicles .

We are looking for dependable technicians with strong mechanical ability, diagnostic skills, and experience working in a professional auto repair or dealership-style environment .


Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair cars, trucks, and light-duty vehicles

  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM services) and full vehicle repairs

  • Inspect, test, and verify vehicle systems for safety and performance

  • Complete vehicle inspections and post-repair quality checks

  • Work on a variety of automotive systems including:

    • Engine performance & drivability issues

    • Automotive electrical systems & wiring diagnostics

    • Brake repair & ABS systems

    • Steering & suspension systems

    • Heating & A/C (HVAC) systems

    • Transmission & powertrain components

  • Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues

  • Perform road tests to confirm repairs and proper operation

  • Maintain accurate repair documentation and work orders

  • Work efficiently in a team-oriented shop environment

  • Assist with mentoring or supporting junior technicians when needed
