Position Overview

The Automotive Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, setting sales goals, developing effective sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of leadership, customer service, and sales expertise to achieve the dealership's sales objectives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Monitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching.

· Set individual and team sales goals while conducting regular sales meeting and training sessions.

· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while addressing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly.

· Manage inventory to ensure optimal selection of vehicles.

· Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure smooth transactions.

· Prepare sales reports and present them to senior management.

· Work closely with senior management to ensure the day-to-day success of the Sales department and sales teams.

· Other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications Required

· This role requires an active AMVIC license as well as a Class 5 Drivers License with a clean abstract.

· Previous experience in automotive management role is preferred.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in sales management software and CRM tools.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Customer-focused with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
