With more than 8,500 self-service key duplication kiosks located in retailers like Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, 7-Eleven, and Menards, we provide customers with convenient key duplication, storage, and locksmith services nationwide.

Do you have a passion for cars, enjoy working with your hands, and love interacting with people? We're looking for Mobile Operations Technicians to join our team as we expand into Tampa, FL!
This unique role combines customer engagement, sales, and hands-on automotive work. You'll educate customers about our services while cutting and programming automotive keys. No prior key programming experience is required—we provide comprehensive training. An automotive background or strong interest in vehicles is a plus.
Responsibilities

  • Engage customers and promote KeyMe's on-the-spot car key duplication service.
  • Educate customers on our products and services while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Cut, clone, and program automotive keys, remotes, and key fobs (training provided).
  • Troubleshoot basic programming issues and test completed keys.
  • Maintain company van, equipment, tools, and inventory.


Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic, outgoing, and comfortable striking up conversations with strangers in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning new technical skills.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish not required but a plus!
     

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work Wednesday–Sunday 8:00 am EST to 5:00 pm EST (off Monday & Tuesday).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Automotive experience or prior automotive key programming is a plus but not required. Candidates with professional key programming experience      may qualify for a higher starting pay.
