OVERVIEW
We're looking for an experienced and driven Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team at CS Automotive. In this role, you'll perform various automotive services, including tire installation and maintenance, steering and suspension, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostic, drivability, and preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance services. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Test drives vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety.
  • Performs routine maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid flushes and replacements, belt and hose replacements, battery testing and installation, and general automotive repairs.
  • Conducts thorough visual inspections of vehicles and accurately document any findings.
  • Maintains cleanliness and functionality of shop equipment, including servicing portable fluid drains according to shop protocols.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to support shop operations and team success.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and keep the sales area clean and professional at all times
  • Partner with the Store Manager, Service Advisors and other team members in the shop to deliver complete customer satisfaction
  • Show dependability, accountability, adaptability, and an upbeat approach in our busy, collaborative work environment
WHAT YOU’LL BRING WITH YOU
  • Solid understanding of automotive systems; experience with PC-based diagnostic tools and/or digital inspections are a plus.
  • 3 plus years’ experience in automotive maintenance or repair; must have own tools.
  • Valid driver’s license is strongly preferred.

WHERE YOU’LL BE WORKING
This role is located in our tire and automotive service retail location. You'll work in a dynamic, high-energy shop environment with flexible hours Monday through Saturday, with occasional overtime as business needs require. The position requires the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, lift items weighing up to 75 pounds, and perform tasks in an active workshop setting. You'll experience exposure to typical automotive shop conditions, including moderate noise levels, fluctuating temperatures, and standard service bay elements.
