AUTOMOTIVE LUBE TECHNICIAN
NOW HIRING – ENTRY LEVEL & EXPERIENCED

Indy CDJR is currently hiring Automotive Lube Technicians to join our service team in Brownsburg, Indiana. This is a great opportunity to start or continue a career in automotive service within a fast-paced, professional dealership environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Automotive Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services efficiently and accurately while following dealership and manufacturer standards.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
Drain engine oil and refill with the required amount
Replace oil and air filters
Inspect and replenish vehicle fluid levels as needed
Check tire pressure and add air when required
Lubricate moving parts using specified lubricants
Sell lubrication, safety inspection, and related maintenance services
Document all work performed on repair orders
Communicate with the parts department to obtain required parts
Report equipment defects or malfunctions to the service manager
Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned
Stay current on manufacturer technical bulletins
Ensure customer vehicles remain clean and protected
Notify service advisors of any change in vehicle condition
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Properly use and maintain dealership tools and equipment
Comply with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations
Report any safety issues immediately to management
Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

No prior experience required – we will train the right candidate

Previous dealership or service experience is a plus


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
Ability to work with tools, fluids, and automotive equipment
Comfortable working in a shop environment
