Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze system architecture, design documents, and concept proposals to derive functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Author and manage system requirements using JAMA Connect (or similar ALM tools such as DOORS or Polarion).
  • Maintain complete Requirements → Design → Test traceability.
  • Develop and manage test cases based on approved system requirements.
  • Participate in requirement and test case review/approval processes.
  • Review verification & validation (V&V) test results and ensure compliance with defined acceptance criteria.
  • Support debugging, defect tracking, and root cause analysis.
  • Occasionally perform bench, HIL, or vehicle-level validation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and automotive development processes.
Required Skills
  • Experience in Requirements Engineering and Requirement Traceability.
  • Hands-on experience with JAMA ConnectDOORS, or Polarion.
  • Strong understanding of Verification & Validation (V&V) processes.
  • Experience writing and reviewing system requirements and test cases.
  • Ability to understand system architecture and design documents.
  • Experience with Automotive or Electric Vehicle (EV) systems.
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
  • Experience with EV subsystems such as:
    • Battery Management Systems (BMS)
    • Powertrain
    • Charging Systems
    • Thermal Management
    • Vehicle Controls
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with ASPICE.
  • Basic HIL/Bench testing experience.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or ALM.
  • Knowledge of EGAS architecture is a plus.
