onHonda is seeking an experienced CAE Crash & Safety Engineer to perform vehicle crash and safety simulations, analyze CAE results, and develop engineering countermeasures to meet vehicle safety targets and regulatory requirement

s.Key Responsibiliti

  • esPerform crash and safety CAE analysis with approximately 5–15 years of relevant experienc
  • e.Develop simulation models and perform crash simulations using LS-DYN
  • A.Prepare CAE models/decks and conduct impact simulation
  • s.Perform pre-processing and post-processing using tools such as ANSA and MetaPost/Meta-Pos
  • t.Analyze crash simulation results and identify areas requiring design improvemen
  • t.Evaluate vehicle structural performance against safety target
  • s.Develop effective countermeasures when simulation results do not meet performance requirement
  • s.Apply knowledge of NCAP and IIHS regulations and Honda internal safety standard
  • s.Work closely with design and test engineers to develop and validate safety solution
  • s.Prepare technical simulation reports and engineering documentatio
  • n.Present CAE results and recommendations to cross-functional engineering team
  • s.Work within a Linux environment for CAE analysis activitie
  • s.Communicate technical findings using appropriate engineering terminolog

  • ns5–15 years of CAE experience, specifically in the automotive crash domai
  • n.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ANSA, MetaPost/Meta-Post, and LS-DYN
  • A.Strong experience in crash and impact simulatio
  • n.Strong LS-DYNA deck preparation and solver experienc
  • e.Ability to interpret and evaluate crash simulation result
