About the Opportunity

Our franchised dealership is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our service department and drive performance across customer satisfaction, profitability, and operational efficiency. This is a high-visibility leadership role for a proven fixed-ops professional who knows how to build a productive, accountable team and deliver a first-class customer experience.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and shop capacity management
  • Own department profitability — labor and parts gross, effective labor rate, hours per RO, and expense control
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention, holding the team accountable to CSI / Service NPS targets
  • Manage, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians; recruit and retain top talent
  • Oversee warranty administration and ensure claims are submitted accurately and within manufacturer deadlines
  • Maximize technician productivity and efficiency through effective dispatching and flat-rate performance management
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards, safety regulations, and all applicable state and federal requirements
  • Partner with sales and parts departments to support overall dealership performance
  • Monitor key metrics daily and build action plans to close performance gaps
  • Reports to: General Manager / Fixed Operations Director
