Automotive Tag & Title Director – Centralized Operations
Lead Multi-Dealership Title & Registration Operations

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Tag & Title Director to lead our centralized Tag & Title department, supporting multiple dealership locations. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a highly organized professional with extensive automotive title and registration experience, proven management skills, and a passion for operational excellence.

As the Tag & Title Director, you will oversee all title and registration processes, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, supervise a team of title professionals, and develop efficient, standardized processes across our dealership network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct all centralized tag and title operations for multiple dealership locations.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the Tag & Title team to ensure high performance and accountability.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vehicle titles, registrations, lien recordings, and related DMV documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Develop and implement standardized procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.
  • Monitor department productivity, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with dealership leadership, accounting, finance, and sales teams to resolve title issues and streamline workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices across all locations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with state agencies, DMV offices, and third-party vendors.
Qualifications
