As a Full Time Heavy Equipment Operator with the City of Pharr, you will play a vital role in efficiently maintaining and enhancing the city's infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a utility trailer transport while occasionally managing smaller equipment such as shredders and slope mowers. You’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills on a diverse range of machinery, including dozers, front-end loaders, motor graders, maintainers, bucket trucks, backhoes, low-boys, flatbeds, pavers, rollers, forklifts, vector trucks, and street sweepers (both vacuum and mechanical). This position is perfect for those who thrive in a hands-on environment and enjoy the challenge of problem-solving. Additionally, you will perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the effective operation of essential city services.
