The ideal automotive engine technician inspects, diagnoses, and repairs vehicle engines, specializing in mechanical components, computerized diagnostic systems, and able to test parts and systems to ensure that they work properly.
Compensation & Schedule
  • $26–$40/hour flat rate (based on experience)
  • Full-time, Monday - Saturday available

Responsibilities
  • Service and repair vehicles as directed by the Service Manager
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and provide effective repair solutions
  • Create accurate repair estimates (CDK experience a plus)
  • Maintain precise, detailed records of all repairs performed and parts used
  • Communicate with factory/OEM technical support as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Prior experience diagnosing and repairing Ford vehicles
  • Experience with engine work, specifically gas engine required.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
