Job Description

Automotive Controls Algorithm Engineer

Job Responsibilities not reflected in the standard classification description: Work as an independent yet integral member of a team to develop and implement innovative and creative solutions for vehicle active safety related applications.

- Develop/debug source code for vehicle-based systems and bench simulated environment - Perform tests and comparisons of internal as well as vendor based active safety sensing technologies.

- Possess strong interpersonal skills and consistently demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and with cross-functional teams


Qualifications

Basic Required:

- MS with at least 1 or more years, or BS with 3+ years working experience in computer engineering/science or related fields

- Strong software development skills in C/C++ for Linux, Microsoft Visual Studio, Matlab or python, and similar environments

- Knowledge and experience in algorithm and prototype system development

- Effective verbal and written communication skills

Additional Information

Experience Preferred:

- Experience in porting algorithm in parallel processors environment (e.g., CUDA, OpenMP, etc.)

- Experience in image/signal processing algorithm development and implementation

- Demonstrated experience in automotive embedded system development.
