Job description

Responsibilities
  • Support embedded software integration, deployment, and validation activities.
  • Investigate software and vehicle-level issues through debugging and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, system architects, product teams, and validation teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Perform system-level troubleshooting involving vehicle electronics, sensors, diagnostics, and communication networks.
  • Support software configuration management, baselines, and release processes.
  • Analyze vehicle communication logs and system interactions using diagnostic tools.
  • Validate software functionality across different vehicle configurations and variants.
  • Document issues, findings, solutions, and technical recommendations.
  • Manage defects and track issue resolution using project management tools.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in automotive embedded systems, vehicle electronics, software integration, system validation, or ADAS development.
  • Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols:
    • CAN
    • Ethernet
    • LIN
    • UDS Diagnostics
  • Experience with analysis tools such as:
    • CANoe
    • CANalyzer
    • Vehicle Spy
    • Wireshark or similar tools
  • Experience with software configuration management, release processes, and software baselines.
  • Working knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
