We are seeking an experienced Automotive Business Development Manager to lead our Business Development Center (BDC) team and support our ongoing growth.Job DetailsSalary: $120,000 to $130,000 per yearJob Type: Full TimeLocation: Woodside, NY 11377Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise the Automotive Customer Service BDC Consultants to meet department goals for customer contacts, appointment setting, and sales.Ensure achievement of key metrics, including appointments set, appointments attended, and vehicle sales from internet and inbound leads.Maintain and improve return on investment (ROI) levels established by the company.Support the sales process for vehicles, service, aftermarket, and finance products.Train sales staff and BDC Consultants on e-Sales office functions and CRM system usage.Communicate effectively with customers via telephone and email.Track and report performance metrics such as shows, sales, commissions, and bonuses.Manage employee schedules, time clock reporting, and payroll documentation.Participate in hiring, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and terminating BDC staff as needed.Develop and implement office procedures and administrative systems.Promote a professional work environment consistent with the company’s vision and values.Work Environment and ExpectationsThis role is based in a dynamic call center environment where teamwork, adaptability, and professionalism are essential. Job Requirement:QualificationsPrevious experience working in an automotive dealership is required.Proven sales experience is essential.Flexible availability to meet business needs.Proficiency in personal computer use, including CRM systems, Internet applications, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Ability to work effectively within a call center environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work well in a team and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
