Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
  • Process vehicle deals, billing, and title work accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end closing
  • Prepare financial reports and statements as needed
  • Support internal controls and compliance procedures
  • Work closely with department managers to ensure accurate reporting and data flow
  • Identify and help implement process improvements within the accounting department

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in dealership or automotive accounting
  • Associate's or Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and dealership software (e.g., CDK, Dealertrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
