Job description

Lot Attendant

We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time lot attendant/detailer. We are looking for a motivated, hard working person to help with the day to day operations at our dealership.  Primarily, you will be assisting in the process of the inner workings of a dealership: Moving cars, washing cars, straightening the lot, keeping the lot maintained properly and looking great.

Responsibilities

  • Washes, waxes, and buffs vehicles, dressing wheels and tires
  • Vacuums interiors and trunks
  • Cleans all glass components thoroughly
  • Inspects and cleans engine compartment
  • Operates car wash where available
  • Follows the quality control checklist; includes list of everything done prior to client pick-up
  • Attends weekly department meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Compensation

$15 per hour

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

  • Occasional exposure to inclement weather
  • Ability to operate an automobile
  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending
  • Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • Requires a significant amount of walking and/or standing. May also require working in the seated position for long periods while operating controls with arms and legs. This position may also require working at a production pace while pushing and/or pulling materials from place to place.
