Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have expectations to travel to the site on a regular basis, however this is a remote home-based position.
As Business Development Manager, you will be a strategic and driven force for growth across our medical and industrial injection molding sectors. This is a dual-focus position, requiring you to aggressively prospect and acquire new OEM customers while actively nurturing and expanding partnerships with our existing medical and high technology industrial client base.
This position requires technical expertise and business acumen to increase revenue, build relationships, and meet sales targets. The ideal candidate will:
  • Drive New Business: Identify, target, and acquire new customers through outbound campaigns, industry networking, and strategic account mapping.
  • Grow Existing Accounts: Serve as a trusted advisor to our key customers, identifying new business opportunities by expanding product lines and introducing new services.
  • Strengthen Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders at all levels within customer organizations, from engineering to the C-suite.
  • Develop Strategy: Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed ambitious revenue and margin targets across both medical and industrial sectors.
  • Align and Collaborate: Work closely with our internal engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to align customer needs with our production capabilities.
  • Be a Market Expert: Represent the company at key industry events, trade shows, and networking functions, staying ahead of market trends.

The successful candidate will participate in a sales incentive plan driven by personally owned KPI's based on pipeline build and conversion targets. In addition, the role comes with a company car allowance and Victrex offers a strong benefits package for employees and eligible dependents.
