Job description

Role: Testing Specialist
Location: Baltimore, MD 2120 (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Pay Rate: $32-$37/hr. on 1099 all inc
Overall Duties:
The Testing Specialist is responsible for the comprehensive quality assurance of the ecosystem, ensuring that the AWS infrastructure and .NET Core applications meet rigorous industry standards for performance and security.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for .NET Core applications.
  • Perform thorough database testing using SQL to validate data integrity, transformation logic, and consolidation accuracy.
  • Conduct performance, load, and stress testing on OLAP environments and real-time dashboarding systems.
  • Execute integration testing for AWS cloud services, secure pipelines, and web service interoperability.
  • Manage the defect lifecycle, identifying and tracking software defects while collaborating with developers for timely resolution.
  • Ensure all open source tools and software components adhere to security protocols and quality benchmarks.

Education Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

General Experience Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on .NET Core and SQL environments.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud testing and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, xUnit, or similar).
  • Strong background in testing ETL processes, data warehouses, and complex back-end systems.
  • Proficiency in using open-source automation tools and performance monitoring utilities.
