Job description

WHO WE ARE:
A local and family-owned company that provides Palm Beach County and Broward County with a full range of reliable residential and commercial HVAC, automation, refrigeration, and electrical services since 1984. Air-Ref has decades of experience in providing excellent service, quality workmanship, and reliability. At Air-Ref Co. Inc., we advise customers as we would our own family.
KEY TASK:
Responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment failures and customer home comfort issues. Maintains required levels of truck stock items. Advises Service Manager or Service Dispatcher at such time as the assigned project begins to fall behind average repair times. Reports to first call from home ready to work at the designated start time.
DAILY DUTIES:
  • Properly diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment.
  • Explains services and policies prior to diagnostic and repair.
  • Charge and collect for all work performed, per company policy and procedures.
  • Complete paperwork daily in the dispatch program, recording all hours and materials used on each job before leaving that site. Turns in all completed paperwork and related forms with revenue to Service Manager or Service Dispatcher daily or as directed.
  • Make sure that customers are satisfied with the services rendered before leaving the site.
  • Keep the entire work area neat and organized and free of scrap and debris, foot, or fingerprints.
  • Provide customers with information on the company’s maintenance contracts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • Good mechanical skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be willing to undergo an MVR and background check.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
