As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be the architect of next-generation automated machinery, collaboration with a cross-functional team of engineers, machinists, assemblers, and programmers. Your designs will power the future of intelligent manufacturing, integrating automation, robotics, and cutting-edge mechanical systems to drive efficiency and innovation.
What You'll Do:
• Develop smart, high-performance mechanical systems that integrate automation, robotics, and motion control to optimize manufacturing.
• Design and refine manufacturing equipment, incorporation the latest in robotic assembly, and advanced motion control systems.
• Transform complex mechanical assemblies into high-functioning automated solutions, ensuring seamless operation and top-tier performance.
• Select key components such as power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motion control to create cost-effective, streamlined manufacturing solutions.
• Use 3D CAD software (Solid Edge, AutoCAD, etc.) to generate innovative designs, technical drawings, and bills of materials.
• Diagnose mechanical failures in automated equipment and implement hands-on solutions to keep production running smoothly.
What We're Looking For:
• We are looking for an experienced engineer who can independently design and develop automated equipment from concept through installation. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with mechanical design, controls, fabrication, assembly, programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• BSME or related field, with minimum of 5 years' experience in hands on machine design and automation (experience in Robotic systems is a plus).
• Works independently with minimal support
• Experience with Solid Edge preferred, but proficiency in other 3D CAD software is welcomed.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, power transmission, robotics. Hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Passion for automation, AI-driven manufacturing, and robotics to create the future of industrial efficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, team-first approach.
