Job description

Raw Material Weighing and Dispensing Operator 
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dependable Raw Material Weighing and Dispensing Operator to support the manufacturing of liquid dietary supplements and cosmetic products. This role is responsible for accurately weighing, dispensing, documenting, and transferring raw materials used in production while maintaining compliance with GMP, quality, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday (Day shift) 


Raw Material Weighing and Dispensing Operator Duties and Responsibilities
  Pulls, weighs, and returns raw materials needed to produce batches. 
  Verifies raw materials being weighed against official blending records. 
  Records all pertinent raw material information on official blending records for traceability, including but not limited to lot numbers, expiration dates, and weight. 
  Maintains accurate batch records required throughout the process. 
  Proficient in converting units to calculate batch requirements. 
  Notifies appropriate management of documentation discrepancies. 
  Effectively operates and maintains scales and various other equipment. 
  Operates forklifts and pallet jacks. 
  Collects, labels, and ships samples. 
  Transfers approved raw materials accurately in and out of locations. 
  Navigates and uses Process Pro screens to locate raw materials, find inventory quantities,  check approval status, adjust inventory, or receive inventory. 
  Actively participates in housekeeping responsibilities. 
  Performs annual and cycle count inventory.

Skills and Abilities Required
  Ability to read and apply information contained in SOP specifications for the operation. 
  Strong problem-solving skills. 
  Maintains quality and safety standards. 
  Trains and monitors line personnel in the performance of their duties. 
  Extreme attention to detail and accurate documentation. 
 
Minimum Qualification
  Minimum of 2 years of similar experience in a manufacturing environment or quality control background. 
  Good communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  Basic math skills. 
  Strong problem-solving abilities.
