This position is primarily focused on executing successful field installations, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of both robotic systems and their peripheral equipment. The technician will also be responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly and debugging in the shop, as well as breaking down custom machines and automation cells for shipment. Additionally, the role involves onsite layout, installation, and commissioning of these systems. Attention to detail is crucial, as the technician will be expected to efficiently fill out field service reports, preventative maintenance checklists, and equipment documentation, ensuring that all operational standards and client specifications are met.
