Security Automation & Integration Engineer | About You
As a Security Automation & Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in modernizing and automating security intake and assessment processes across the organization. You will design integrations, automate workflows, improve data quality, and support AI-assisted solutions that streamline how security requests are captured, enriched, routed, and tracked. The ideal candidate combines strong automation and integration expertise with data engineering, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills to deliver scalable and reliable solutions in a fast-paced security environment.
Security Automation & Integration Engineer | Day-to-Day
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between enterprise systems and work-tracking platforms to support automated security intake and triage processes.
  • Build and enhance workflow automation solutions for request routing, data enrichment, notifications, status updates, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and support AI-assisted workflows, including prompt design, workflow orchestration, and governance controls that ensure appropriate human review.
  • Analyze, reconcile, cleanse, and standardize data across multiple systems while implementing validation and monitoring processes to maintain data quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration, automation, and workflow issues, ensuring reliable operation through monitoring, error handling, and proactive support.
  • Collaborate with security, engineering, and business stakeholders to define requirements, improve processes, document solutions, and deliver scalable automation capabilities.

Security Automation & Integration Engineer | Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience building enterprise integrations, workflow automation, or data engineering solutions, with strong proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, including authentication methods, data exchange, error handling, rate limiting, and integration development across enterprise platforms.
  • Strong data management and analysis skills, including SQL, data transformation, reconciliation, normalization, data quality monitoring, and reporting.
  • Experience with enterprise workflow and work management platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar systems, along with version control and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with cloud and automation technologies, including Azure or AWS, AI/LLM-assisted workflows, Power Automate, Logic Apps, serverless functions, or similar automation platforms; cybersecurity domain experience is strongly preferred.
