Automation Industrial Engineer will create detailed project roadmaps for automation projects and automated systems to use in a production and manufacturing environment, in collaboration with departmental and corporate leadership. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, in addition to thorough knowledge of engineering and automation.
Job Location:
The ideal candidate will be working on-site in the sunshine state of California, USA in the city of Ontario. Ontario is named "The Next Urban Center" and is just one hour away from the Greater Los Angeles Area of great beaches, entertainment and a melting pot of diverse people and culture.
What you will be doing:
  • Design and implement automated systems and automation framework settings
  • Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems
  • Develop or modify programs in C/C#/C++
  • Develop automation scripts in Perl and Ruby
  • Coordinate system development, including the design, modeling, security, integration, and testing
  • Identify, develop, and implement new processes to improve productivity and efficiency in our manufacturing operations
  • Identify and resolve issues using existing or potential solutions
  • Create detailed road maps to guide automation projects from initial conception to final implementation
  • Manage and document system configurations
  • Support and upgrade existing automation technology
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Provide technical support and training as needed

What you will bring along:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning
  • Experience with C# and WinForms building desktop programs
  • Experience with Serial Communication and Interfacing to various equipment
  • Experience with Micro-controller development (Arduino)
  • Experience with electronic circuits
  • Experience with purchasing, planning, scheduling, and materials management systems
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • SAP and manufacturing environment preferred

Rate of Pay: $31- $35 / hour
