Job Title: Automation Engineer
Location: Libertyville, IL

Job Summary: Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation equipment, tooling, and applications to support manufacturing processes and ensure high equipment uptime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, modify, and maintain automation equipment and processes
  • Prepare technical documents: manuals, drawings, training, maintenance plans
  • Perform preventive & breakdown maintenance; ensure machine uptime
  • Conduct troubleshooting, root cause (Why-Why) analysis, and corrective actions
  • Analyze machine performance, wear & tear, and defects
  • Collaborate with engineering/operations for process improvements
  • Support new product automation and improve existing processes
  • Drive automation efficiency and provide design feedback

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3–10+ years of experience (Entry to Senior level)
