Job description

We’re currently looking to grow our team of Electricians!


ABOUT THE POSITION

The Electrician is responsible for performing all plant electrical work.

SALARY

$44.68 / hour


REQUIREMENTS

  • One year experience in manufacturing;

  • Industrial electrical experience

  • Ability to repair and troubleshoot 120V, 240V, 480V, and 3-phase systems;

  • Experience with motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation


PREFERRED

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to Read, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specification

  • Ability to work overtime when necessary


JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues on industrial equipment and machinery

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motors, controls, VFDs, sensors, and PLC-related systems

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings

  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment

  • Assist with equipment upgrades, new installations, and plant improvements

  • Installs, repairs, and/or replaces AC/DC motors and drives, starters or relay

  • Installs, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, support structures, fiber-optic, line assemblies, lighting

  • Replace belts on all plant motors

  • Repair boiler controls

  • Drive fork-lift truck
