Job description

Dairy Performance Support - Remote/Field Based Role in USA

milkrite | InterPuls is looking for a hands-on, technically skilled Dairy Performance Support professional to join our Americas team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, agriculture, and customer success—supporting distributors, training partners, and solving real-world challenges on dairy farms.

If you thrive in a dynamic, field-based environment and enjoy building relationships while delivering technical expertise, this could be a great fit!

What You’ll Do:

In this role, you’ll be a key driver of performance and customer satisfaction across our distribution network and end users.

Training & Distributor Development

  • Deliver technical training to distributors and partners to strengthen product knowledge and service capabilities
  • Develop and implement training programs and materials tailored to partner needs
  • Support distributors in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting best practices
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling during technical interactions

Automation & Controls Support

  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems.
  • Support commissioning, startup, and optimization of capital equipment.
  • Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues involving automation systems, controls, sensors, electronic devices, and communications networks.
  • Assist customers and distributors with technical troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Provide recommendations regarding system settings, programming, and operational improvements.
  • Support equipment upgrades, enhancements, and implementation of new technologies.

Field Support & Customer Success

  • Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and system optimization at customer locations
  • Partner with Sales on customer visits to support new business development
  • Respond to technical inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues

Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with distributors, partners, and dairy producers
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Capture and share field feedback to support product and service improvements

Market Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and product performance
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on field data and analysis
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in technical support and training processes

What We’re Looking For:

  • Associate degree in Engineering (Electronic, Mechatronic) or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in automation and control systems engineering
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, PLC-controlled systems, and troubleshooting
  • Experience training or supporting distributors or partners
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across America
  • Fluently communicate verbally and written in English

Work Environment & Travel:

This is a remote, field-based role requiring frequent travel to dairy farms and distributor locations.

You’ll work in a mix of environments—from home office settings to hands-on agricultural sites, including milking parlors and equipment rooms.

Why Join milkrite | InterPuls?

  • Be part of a global leader in dairy solutions and innovation
  • Work directly with cutting-edge milking technology and systems
  • Make a visible impact on farm performance and customer success
  • Join a collaborative, international team focused on growth and development

Apply Today!

If you’re passionate about agriculture, technology, and helping customers succeed, we’d love to hear from you!
