Position: AEP QA Automation Test Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Description:
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in test strategy, automation frameworks, and data validation for marketing technology platforms. While deep Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) expertise is not required, familiarity with RT-CDP concepts and prior experience in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) or MarTech ecosystems is highly desirable.
This role focuses on designing and executing automated tests for data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and journey orchestration, ensuring high-quality delivery of personalized customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning:
  • Define comprehensive test strategies for AEP and related MarTech/CDP implementations.
  • Develop test plans covering data flows, API integrations, and customer journey orchestration.

Automation Development:
  • Build and maintain automated test suites for API, data pipelines, and event-driven workflows.
  • Implement regression packs for schema validation, data ingestion, and segmentation accuracy.

Data Validation & Quality Assurance:
  • Validate XDM schema compliance and data integrity across ingestion pipelines.
  • Test identity resolution logic and profile unification scenarios.

Journey & Activation Testing:
  • Simulate customer journeys and validate orchestration logic in AJO or similar platforms.
  • Verify audience segmentation and activation across destinations.

Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Work closely with developers, architects, and business teams to translate requirements into test cases.
  • Provide clear defect reports, dashboards, and QA metrics to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years in QA Automation or SDET roles with MarTech/CDP experience (Adobe,
  • Salesforce, Oracle, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and RT-CDP concepts (not necessarily
  • expert-level).
  • Strong skills in test strategy, API automation, and data validation.
  • Proficiency in SQL and one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, or Java).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and test reporting frameworks.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) or similar orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and data governance best practices.
  • Experience with ETL testing and data pipeline validations.
  • Certifications in QA or MarTech platforms are a plus.
