Description

Seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software functionality, efficiency, and reliability. Will work within an Agile team to create test plans, execute automated tests, identify bugs, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality software releases.

Responsibilities

  • Framework Development: Build, customize, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Script Creation: Write, execute, and debug automated test scripts for web, API, or mobile applications.
  • Test Strategy: Review requirements to create comprehensive test plans and define the scope of automation.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring resolution through regression testing.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git) for continuous testing. Extensive experience with Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Collaboration: Work with developers and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.


Requirements

Minimum Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field + 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
    • Technical Master's or Doctorate degree may substitute for 5 years of required experience.

Minimum Skills:

  • Experience in Agile environment
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#) and experience with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Testing Knowledge: Deep understanding of QA methodologies, API testing, and test automation design patterns.
