We are seeking a motivated and talented associate to join our Valve Automation Inside Sales team. This individual will play an integral role in supporting our customers, strengthening our Valve Automation capabilities, and driving continued V&A growth across the Southeast region.

This role supports the Valve Automation Inside Sales team and reports directly to the V&A Sales Manager. The associate will be primarily responsible for sizing and quoting valve automation solutions while serving as a consultative resource to our established V&A customer base. In addition, this individual will play a key role in expanding customer engagement and strengthening our overall V&A product presence. Due to the close collaboration required with our Engineered Products Team, candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to either Theodore , AL or Clarksville, TN.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Southeast Inside and Outside Sales teams, as well as internal and external customers, with timely and professional service

  • Deliver exceptional customer support while developing a strong foundation in the V&A business

  • Size actuators, control valves, and accessories, and develop complete valve automation solutions daily

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners to support sales growth and customer success

  • Collaborate with associates across the district to support and promote V&A products and initiatives

  • Establish trusted working relationships to ensure seamless communication and teamwork

  • Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn through ongoing training and continuous development, particularly in Valve Automation products and applications

Qualifications:

  • This is a development role where the V&A team will invest in your success. The team will teach you everything you need to know about Valve Automation.
  • 1-3 years sales experience is required.
  • Strong attention to detail & high aptitude for learning quickly.
  • A high level of integrity when problem solving.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
