Global Indirect Tax - Indirect Tax Automation Associate 

Job Description: 

As the Global Indirect Tax Associate, you'll implement and build third party tax systems with major third-party ERP and billing platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, D365), as well as custom billing systems for your clients, across a wide variety of industries - all with the resources, environment and support to help you excel.  You'll collaborate with team members, practice leadership, and our diverse client base and will play a key role in gathering requirements, design, build, and testing implementation because together is how we succeed.  From day one, you'll be empowered by playing a key role in the requirements gathering, design, build, and testing of the implementation of third-party software products as well as our own custom solution to implement technological solutions and help you achieve more, confidently.

Your day-to-day may include:

  • Work closely with Senior Associates and Managers to promptly resolve client problems encountered in processes 
  • Gain an understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives, and utilize that knowledge on engagements 
  • Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis 
  • Other duties as assigned

You have the following technical skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related technical field
  • Minimum of one year experience
  • Experience in public accounting and/or relevant ERP system is a plus
  • Strong computer skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to travel as needed.  Expect 10% travel

The base salary range for this position is between  $ 93,500 and $112,901. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton's discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity. At Grant Thornton, compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
