Job description

DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire an Outside Sales Representative in Omaha, Nebraska who will specialize in building relationships and selling commercial entry door systems, automatic doors, storefront solutions, and related service offerings. If you have a strong aptitude for business development and enjoy helping customers improve the safety, security, and accessibility of their facilities, please apply!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of commercial entry doors, automatic door systems, storefront solutions, and related products and services
  • Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities, identify facility needs, and provide consultative solutions
  • Cultivate sales with commercial property owners/managers, office buildings, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, retail centers, government facilities, and other commercial organizations throughout Omaha, Nebraska and the surrounding areas
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards
  • Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals
  • Meet with existing and prospective customers, assess facility requirements, and recommend technical and mechanical solutions that improve security, accessibility, and building functionality
  • Develop the scope of work for each proposal and personally handle every detail from initial contact through project completion
  • Follow up quickly to close customer projects and participate in project management when necessary
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and responsiveness
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree, highly preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years outside sales experience
  • Possess an ability to understand technical applications, mechanical systems, and building access solutions
  • Experience with Blueprints/Plans and Specifications highly desired
  • Experience selling commercial construction, building products, door systems, access control, security solutions, or related products is preferred
  • Must have an outgoing personality and a natural affinity for taking care of customers
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Must possess a Valid Driver's License
