Key Responsibilities

Outbound Calling: Make 100+ outbound cold calls daily to prospective residential or commercial clients using an automated dialing system.

Lead Qualification: Follow a prepared phone script to introduce our agency's basic offerings (auto, home, life, or business insurance) and verify prospect data.

Appointment Setting: Schedule specific dates and times for qualified prospects to speak directly with our licensed insurance producers.

Data Management: Input precise customer feedback, contact details, and call statuses into the agency's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.Compliance adherence: Strictly follow all federal and state telemarketing rules, including Do Not Call (DNC) registry compliance.Quota Management: Meet or exceed daily and weekly targets for outgoing dials, live connections, and set appointments.

High-Volume Outbound Calling: Make a target number of daily cold calls (often 200-300) to prospects from generated marketing lists.

Script Delivery: Follow approved scripts to introduce the agency and spark interest in looking at better coverage options or lower rates.

Lead Qualification: Ask basic discovery questions to determine if a prospect owns a home, drives a car, or has a current insurance policy.

Appointment Setting: Schedule specific times for interested prospects to speak with the agency's licensed insurance agents for a formal quote.

CRM Data Entry: Log all call outcomes, update contact details, and note prospect objections or follow-up dates in the agency database.DNC Compliance:

Cross-reference calling lists with federal and state Do Not Call registries to prevent legal violations.Performance Tracking: Meet or exceed weekly quotas for outbound dials, live connections, and successfully scheduled appointments.

Pipeline Management: Follow up on missed appointments or voicemail messages to reschedule dates and keep leads active.


Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 612 months of experience in telemarketing, outbound customer service, or retail sales is preferred but not required.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication, clear pronunciation, active listening skills, and a friendly phone demeanor.

Resilience: Strong capability to handle routine rejection and objections while staying positive and motivated.

Tech Literacy: Comfortable working with multi-line phone systems, web-based CRMs, and basic data entry software.

Licensing: No active property and casualty (P&C) or life insurance license is required, though a willingness to study for one in the future is a plus.
