Mechanical Engineering Position
TTI Todd Technologies Inc. is a desiccant breather and hydraulic oil filter manufacturer. Weve set ourselves apart in our industry by being better than our competition, speed to market, and by incorporating new innovations/technology into our products. We dont limit ourselves to breathers and oil filters, we also have a wide range of pressure vessels, integrated system equipment, etc. that are complementary to our flagship products.
TTI is looking for a mechanical engineer to assist with product design, development, and support of hydraulic systems. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy both design work and hands-on involvement in building, testing, and improving real-world products.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a strong understanding of product specifications, applications, and performance requirements
Evaluate chemical compatibility, operating conditions, and application needs to support proper product selection and design
Design 3D components, assemblies, and weldments, and produce detailed 2D drawings for manufacturing and customer use (welding knowledge not required)
Create and update Quality related incoming Inspection Documents
Generate and help manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) within ERP systems
Create manufacturing routers and support development of work instructions for production assembly
Assist in the design, sourcing, assembly, and operation of testing and manufacturing equipment
Develop data sheets, tools, and documentation to communicate technical information clearly
Maintain organized engineering data, including revision control and documentation
Work with Operations and Production Value Stream Leaders to resolve any assembly and technical issues
Generate RFQs and work with purchasing and vendors on component sourcing
Create cost Bills of Materials to estimate labor and material costs
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing creation (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
  • Must be able to work in a positive, dynamic work environment with an emphasis on teamwork and quality of work.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
Familiarity with CNC machining, metal stamping, and injection molding processes
Basic understanding of fluid systems, including piping, fittings, valves, and hose routing
Working knowledge of mechanical system assembly, including common plumbing practices (threaded connections, sealing methods, etc.)
Basic electrical knowledge, including:
o Wiring motors, switches, and simple control circuits
o Familiarity with VFD setup and basic operation
o Ability to troubleshoot simple electrical systems
o Working safely with electrical systems
Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus
(Hands-on experience is preferred, but advanced electrical design is not required.)
