JOB DESCRIPTION
SummaryDevelops tools, implements designs, and integrates machinery or equipment to ensure effective manufacturing processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
  • Perform equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Support engineers in designing fixtures, tools, and process improvements to enhance production efficiency.
  • Conduct tests and inspections to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
  • Analyze production data and recommend improvements for cycle time, waste reduction, and cost efficiency.
  • Assist with new product introductions by setting up equipment and processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including work instructions, reports, and process changes.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Install wiring and build panels as needed for manufacturing processes.
  • Performs other tasks or duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, welding/fabrication.
  • Experience with robotics and automation.
  • Advanced proficiency with Autodesk (CAD) Inventor/2D and/or Electrical.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with quality control tools such as SPC, root cause analysis, and FMEA.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

EDUCATION:
  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or a combination of both.
