What does an Autocad drafter do?

A typical day for an AutoCAD Drafter involves creating and revising detailed technical drawings based on project specifications, collaborating closely with engineers, architects, or designers to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards. You may spend time reviewing redlines, updating CAD files, and preparing documentation for submission or approval. Drafters also often participate in project meetings to discuss progress and address any issues or required revisions. The work is generally fast-paced, deadline-driven, and requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects at once.
