Job description

Job DescriptionDetailer - Southtown Hyundai

Some people clean cars.

Real detailers take pride in making a vehicle look better than the day it rolled off the lot.

Southtown Hyundai is hiring Detailers, and we're looking for people who actually care about the finished product. The kind of person who notices the little things, works hard without being babysat, and takes satisfaction in seeing a vehicle completely transformed before it leaves the shop.

This is a busy operation with serious workflow:

  • 200-230 new vehicles sold monthly
  • 80-100 used vehicles sold monthly
  • Approximately 130 service appointments per day

That means steady work, constant vehicle flow, and no standing around waiting for something to do

If you like staying active, working around vehicles all day, and being part of a shop culture where effort actually matters, this is worth checking out.

Qualified candidates may receive an offer on the spot.

Free Go Auto swag for interview attendees.

You do NOT need to be a master detailer already. If you have a strong work ethic, take pride in your work, and want to learn, we'll teach you.

What we're looking for:

  • Someone who works hard and moves with urgency
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and team-first mentality
  • Someone who takes pride in seeing a finished vehicle look incredible
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license required

Experience with polishing, paint protection, shampooing, and detailing is an asset, but attitude and work ethic matter just as much.

What you get:

  • Stable, full-time work in a busy body shop
  • Training and development through Go Auto U
  • Health and dental benefits
  • Vacation starting at 3 weeks
  • Employee Investment Program with up to 16% annual return
  • Real advancement opportunities within Go Auto

A lot of people inside Go Auto started in similar roles and built serious careers from there. Some of our General Managers and Vice Presidents started as detailers.

If you're reliable, motivated, and want an opportunity where hard work actually gets noticed, come meet us.

Interview spots are already being booked.
