I-State Truck Center is hiring a Service Manager to lead our Heavy-Duty Truck Service Shop in Sioux City, Iowa. This role is responsible for service department operations, team leadership, customer satisfaction, and shop profitability. About the Role

The Service Manager leads the Service Department by driving performance, growing service revenue, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This position plays a key role in Fixed Operations and partners closely with leadership to support business growth.

I-State Truck Center is part of Interstate Companies, Inc., a multi-location organization with over 1,600 employees across five operating units. We are a leader in heavy-duty truck and diesel service, guided by our commitment to Pride in Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the truck service department
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing service team
  • Drive service revenue, efficiency, and profitability
  • Ensure excellent customer service and communication
  • Monitor KPIs including labor efficiency, throughput, and margin
  • Oversee work orders, quoting, and service invoicing
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

Required Experience & Skills

  • Prior experience as a Service Manager or Fixed Operations leader
